It has been a while but we are pleased to announce another Avalanche LAN! Taking place during the Christmas holidays it will be a day of games and good times. As usual we will be running competitions on the night. Stay tuned for more details. We have made a few changes; At previous events you may have noticed that as we enter the early hours of the morning the energy and excitement of the LAN has waned. Or more likely you haven’t as you were probably asleep! We have decided that rather than maintaining a long tail-end for the LAN where scant gaming occurs we will conclude when as it begins to ebb. This means we will switch of the network at 3am and you will have to pack-up your Computer at this time. However you will NOT have to leave immediately and can stick around to chat, take a nap or play on the consoles until 7am. This allows our staff to pack-up earlier and no longer require the hall on Sunday. Another benefit of not using the hall on Sunday is that are able to reduce the price of the event to $15.
