Anybody into microcontroller programming?

Arduino? Netduino? Maybe WootEvent-branded hardware?

I'm not but know someone who is, anything in particular you wanted to ask or suggest? I can pass it onto him and he might pop in and say hi

Re: Anybody into microcontroller programming?

I'm what you'd call a "microcontroller groupie". ;) I think they are impressive and I like the Arduino: open source, programmed in C. But I haven't done anything with it.

As for small computers I've done some work on the Nintendo DS which is sort of a half-way point between desktop computer and microcontroller: small, limited resources and functionality, lots of emulation when developing... although they are super computers compared to the Arduino or any other microcontroller.

Josh will be making deathbots and shit. Then Dryw Paulic will have to team up with him to make counter-deathbots and save the world from a terminator-esque future.
